DESCRIPTION:
Villa Paradiso is a beautiful country manor on the eastern outskirts of Hartbeespoort Dam. It is only a 20 minute drive from Pretoria's Church Square, and 50 minutes from the OR Tambo International Airport. In addition to accommodation, Villa Paradiso has three conference rooms, two banqueting facilities, a non-denominational chapel, as well as an A la Carte restaurant and breakfast room. There is also a Boma available for more casual functions, like a ‘Bosbraai’. Villa Paradiso is also famous for its Sunday lunch buffet that can be enjoyed in the tranquil surroundings.
Accommodation
All the bedrooms at Villa Paradiso are equipped with televisions (with M-Net and some DStv channels) as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms have either a private balcony, with a stunning view over the Hartbeespoort Dam or over the Magalies Mountains, or doors that lead onto the landscaped gardens. Breakfast and Dining
Full English breakfast is served every morning. The La Rouge Restaurant serves a snack menu throughout the day and fine dining in the evenings. The Wine Bar hosts unique wine tastings. The Fire Fly offers cocktails and light meals, but is mostly a cigar and whiskey lounge.
Weddings
Come take your marriage vows in our newly built ‘state of the art’ chapel that arises above the terrace between the mountain and the breathtaking mass of water from the dam. Or if you prefer a fresh, open air wedding, our garden gazebo will provide you with a memorable panoramic view of the natural surroundings.
After the ceremony, our romantic English gardens – complete with terraces, fountains and benches – are the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. During this time, your guests can also enjoy the view from the balcony or the gazebo, while having their welcome drinks.
Your reception will be hosted in The Bell Room, a thatched function venue set amongst rolling lawns and majestic mountains. This multi-functional venue can comfortably seat up to 180 guests with a dance floor. A private bar and buffet in the venue, will supply your guests with a gastronomic experience. They can also lounge around the warmth of the fireplace in winter months, or on warmer evenings enjoy the breeze on the balcony, while looking over the dam.
Our function coordinator will assist you with all your planning ahead of the big day, ensuring that this period is as special as the wedding day itself.

Nearby facilities include Pecanwood Golf Course, which is 10 km away. Johannesburg International Airport is located 55 minutes' drive away and an airport shuttle service is available at the hotel. Lanseria Airport is only a 15 minute drive away. |
