DESCRIPTION:
Kingfisher's View Waterfront Lodge is a peaceful getaway in a highly secure area, where people can enjoy a relaxing time away from modern life. The Lodge is situated in the village of Kosmos and is less than one hour by car from Johannesburg and only 30 minutes from Pretoria.
Kingfisher's View overlooks the Hartbeespoort Dam and is close to Sun City, the Snake and Animal Park, Art Galleries and Craft Markets, Golf Courses, Cableway, Game Farms, the Aquarium, Bird Sanctuary, Cheetah Research Station, Cultural Villages, Elephant Sanctuary and for the hungry there are many restaurants situated in the area.
ACCOMMODATION
Kingfisher's View Waterfront Lodge offers Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering accommodation. All the suites have TV's, braai facilities, secure parking and use of the pool and patio area.
Top Suite:
1 bedroom with double bed and shower,lounge with sleeper couch,own entrance. It also has a top deck above the suite with the best view of the dam and mountain where you can have an intimate private braai or simply take in the wonderful view.
Main Suite:
2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and bath, 1 with 2 single beds and shower. Large lounge and open plan kitchen, balcony overlooking the dam and private braai area.
Jacuzzi Suite:
Private entrance with lounge interleading into bedroom. Jacuzzi bathroom on suite with own special view of the dam. Separate shower and toilet. Own balcony area and stairs down to the pool.
The Cottage:
2 bedrooms, 1 with bath, 1 with shower. Lounge and open plan kitchen, separate entrance to own parking, all with direct view onto the dam. Suitable for families and kids.
ACTIVITIES
It also offers local activities for the restless. These include horse riding, boating, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, swimming, biking, hiking, nature trails, trout fishing, hot-air ballooning and boat trips.
FOR THE BUSINESS PERSON
This is a quiet, safe "Home Away from Home", ideal for a think tank session or teambuilding, with the peaceful surroundings of mountains and water being conducive to a relaxed thinking atmosphere. The Executive meeting room can seat up to 16 people. All equipment supplied except for overhead digital projector. |
