Retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life to Kassaboera Lodge nestled in the Magalies Meander, on the edge of the Hartbeespoort Dam (only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and 30 minutes from Pretoria).
At Kassaboera, situated on the waterfront of Hartbeespoort Dam, you will experience warmth, comfort and incredible hospitality as the norm. You’ll always be within eyeshot of the Hartbeespoort Dam and near some of South Africa’s most memorable tourist attractions such as the Cradle of Humankind and other incredible nature resorts as well as Sun City.
Accommodation
The Lodge itself is an experience to stroll through with wonderfully warm colours and incredible finishes to make one feel truly comfortable and at home. The owner, Kas’ deep roots in the Afrikaner culture is reflected throughout the theme of the lodge, exploring numerous parts of the culture’s diverse history and character. The concept of the Lodge was formed around a complete shortage of lodges surrounding this specific culture, which is a true shame.
The Afrikaner culture is still an unexplored treasure many have yet to experience - an experience Kassaboera Lodge is striving to share with the world. During special evenings our clients will enjoy outdoor meals prepared in tried-and-tested “boere” fashion. Whether you are enjoying a typical meal or one of special evenings you are in for a treat.

Double Rooms
Fully-equipped rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Facilities available are tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge, a hair dryer and air-conditioning. M-Net and DStv is available. There are views of the dam, garden and mountain.
Single Rooms
These are fully-equipped en-suite rooms overlooking the garden. There is air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, Wi-Fi, a hair dryer as well as M-Net and DStv. There are views of the dam, garden and mountain.
Room 11
This en-suite room has lovely views over the dam. Air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge, hair dryer as well as M-Net and DStv is included.
