This historical landmark was built way before gold was discovered in Johannesburg and remnants of Anglo-Boer war, forts can be seen on the mountains and hills surrounding the resort and nature reserve it is situated in.

We offer 91 elegantly well-appointed rooms and suites with patios to relax and look out to the sub-tropical gardens. Stepping outside your guest room you will find tranquil gardens to relax and enjoy the large variety of bird sounds greeting you.

WOODEN GARDEN GAZEBO:
The setting is for a garden wedding and is lovely during the summer months.

SUNDOWNER & OUTLOOK DECK:
This deck is situated in the nature reserve and is a one-of-a-kind setting and the only view point in this area to offer this unique venue for saying your vows. The deck is perfect for an intimate romantic wedding with only a small number of guests. The deck can only accommodate 40 people. Afterwards a reception can be held in any one of our four banquet rooms.

BANQUET ROOMS:
The resort has four conference venues that can accommodate between 20-200 people.

HONEYMOON SUITES:
The resort has designated honeymoon suites with extra treats for newlyweds!

OUTDOOR PATIO:
The large outdoor patio overlooks the lush gardens and bowling green. We offer snack platters, hot or cold drinks, cocktails and beverages from the bar.

SUNDOWNER DECK IN THE NATURE RESERVE:
For those special occasions we offer sundowner cocktails and hors de oeuvre served overlooking the beautiful Olifantsnek Dam and the Magalies Mountains. We have a limit of 30 people on the deck and advance reservation is necessary.

A wide range of recreational facilities include interesting hiking trails up the mountain to the Anglo-Boer war forts and into the adjacent nature reserve. We also offer scenic drives into the reserve and to our sundowner deck overlooking the mountains and Olifantsnek Dam.
