DESCRIPTION:
Amaduku is a charming thatched lodge 5km out of the town Hartbeespoort at Hartbeespoort Dam. Ideal for a 'breakaway' from the hustle and bustle of city life, the enjoyment of the tranquil bushveld atmosphere and the company of many feathered friends.
Amaduku is a comfortable and spacious home comprising a cash bar and big screen TV in the lounge with homely fireplace, dining room, plus kitchen. We offer accommodation for up to 22 guests sharing. We also have single beds on request.
Accommodation
We are a Guest House with ten double rooms; self catering and semi-self catering units.
Three self catering rooms - with kitchenette, en suite bathrooms, one with a shower, one with a bath and one with a shower and a bath
One family self catering - with kitchenette, en suite bathroom with a shower, fire place and extra room with single beds
Three semi-self catering rooms - en suite bathroom, one with a bath and two with showers
Two small semi-self catering rooms - especially for the business man with en suite bathroom with shower
One self catering Honeymoon suite - spacious room with 4-poster bed, kitchenette, en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and outside private shower
All our rooms have a bar fridge, microwave oven, cutlery, TV with DStv Hotel packages and a braai in front. The rooms are equipped with bedding and bath towels. Coffee and tea in the room on arrival.
Breakfast
We serve breakfast in the dining room and dinner is served on request and is to be booked upfront.
Facilities
Amaduku comprises of a large lapa with excellent braai facilities, fitted with kitchen and bar as well as a pool table. This venue is for hire.
Amaduku has a nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The outside area has extensive gardens with tree covered luscious lawns.
Location
We are situated close to the Cradle of Mankind. We are not a holiday resort but are close to Hartbeespoort Dam, Chameleon Village, Lesedi Cultural Village, Lion and Rhino Park, Maropeng, Snake & Animal Park, Glen Afrique, De Wildt Cheetah Farm, horse riding, four day spa’s and lots more. |
